Fundamentals of Cloud Computing
Cloud computing is the on-demand availability of computer system resources, especially data storage and computing power, without direct active management by the user. The term is generally used to describe data centers available to many users over the Internet. This course explored virtualization and cloud computing. Topics included hardware virtualization, cloud infrastructure, cloud security, and cloud storage. Cloud migration, capacity planning, and performance monitoring were also covered. Exploration of cloud computing platforms and services was accomplished through practical application.
Programming With Objects
In this lesson I learned the basics of Python programming. Created a GUI. Learned to use Pythion libraries such as matplot lib and csv. Created a UML diagram. I have included an example of all the skills I learned in this course.
Fundamentals of Information System Security
This course explored the fundamentals of information security attacks and defense mechanisms. Security issues related to people, data, networks, and devices where surveyed to provide insight into designing security solutions and policies. Technologies and practices that support the security principles of confidentiality, integrity, and availability where also learned.
Fundamentals of Technology and Networking
In this class we learned about the Fundamentals of Technology and Networking. I've acquired skills in Cisco Routing, Cabling, Switches, TCP/IP Protocols and Wireless security and more on the fundamentals of Networking. I have included in the document Projects that I have completed showing my progress.
Operating the Linux OS
I'm adding more skills to my IoT journey! In this course we learned about the Linux OS. I learned to add/modify and delete users and groups, file systems and shell scripts. Administrative tasks and network configurations were also learned. As well as identifying security risks and how to mitigate them.
Digital Devices
In this class we learned about digital devices. We created a basic digital device that can be integrated into the IoT. Through this process we learned Networking, Boolean logic, System Intergrations, Security Awareness and Operating Systems. We also worked with Cayenne Web Server to connect our device to the Web.
Applied Physics with Labs
In this course we explored physics concepts including the fundamental laws of mechanics. Other topics also included force and motion, energy and energy conversion, magnetism, and light. We used practical concepts to help us learn about physics.
